A Long Story Short:
A decade ago, entrepreneurs Jimmy and Michelle Costanzo probably would never have imagined a move from the Southwest to Fayetteville. Their visits to Fayetteville began in 2018 when Michelle, an adoptee living most of her life in Phoenix, Arizona, located four siblings and cousins here. The youngest of her siblings, Michelle found her sisters and brothers: Carla Stovall, Farley Newton, Troy Watt and Doug Watt. With their two sons grown and living in other places, they moved to the area.
“We love it here,” said Michelle.
Following several trips to get acquainted with Michelle’s family, Jimmy decided to relocate his Houston-based mobile locksmith business to Fayetteville.
While familiarizing themselves with the town, they noticed there were no pack and ship businesses here and went about gathering information and joining related associations in preparation for the new business.
The Costanzos bought the building located at 929 Winchester Highway where they could combine Jimmy’s Revolt Locksmith business with Michelle’s Revolt Pack and Ship. The enterprising couple have executive corporate experience, sales expertise, and business startup experience. Jimmy, a licensed helicopter and airplane pilot, at one time became a helicopter flight instructor. With 30 years of locksmith experience under his belt, Jimmy opened his locksmith business here in August 2021. Specializing in high security and master key systems, Jimmy offers commercial and residential service, mobile service, key replacement and duplicates, car key remotes, electronic door lock installation, safe services, business lock out services, combination changes, all at a reasonable price. “I have always been big on customer service,” he said. While customers are waiting, they can help themselves to the coffee bar and relax in the waiting area.
On Jan. 24, the couple opened Revolt Pack and Ship offering shipping services through FedEx, UPS, and USPS. They offer packing services, stock many sizes and shapes of boxes, bubble wrap, foam peanuts, small office supplies and moving supplies. Customers can pick up free supplies, envelopes and boxes for FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
Another convenience Michelle offers is a notary service, by appointment, plus fax service and copies. One thing they cannot do, Jimmy said, is to read QR codes. They will not allow us, Jimmy explained.
Future services include freight shipping and a small computer workstation. “Everybody, since we pulled into town, has been grateful,” said Jimmy.
Store hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays with a goal of opening on Saturdays later this year, following an official grand opening.
